Freelance Wedding Videographer (Second Shooter)
Location: Rochester, NY (or surrounding area)
Position Type: Freelance / Contract
Compensation: $30-$40/hour (based on experience and equipment)
We’re looking for a talented and reliable Freelance Wedding Videographer to join our team as a Second Shooter for wedding day coverage. This is a freelance, contract-based position ideal for someone passionate about storytelling through video, with experience capturing fast-paced, once-in-a-lifetime moments.
What You’ll Do:
Work alongside one of our Lead Shooters to capture wedding day footage.
Follow creative direction and shot lists provided by the Lead Shooter.
Maintain a professional and calm presence while filming important moments under pressure.
Requirements:
Experience filming weddings or live events.
Own professional video equipment capable of 4K 60FPS recording (camera + stabilization gear required).
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
Based in or near Rochester, NY.
Reliable transportation to and from wedding venues.
Strong communication and punctuality.
Additional Details:
This is a contract position — you will be contacted on a per-event basis and only paid for the weddings you shoot.
If selected, you'll be added to our roster of freelance videographers and contacted based on availability.
